FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Local entrepreneurs converge for a taste of Silicon Valley Business Development Week. One Bay Area company brings cost-effective and powerful networking to a live space.

Mountain View
, CA., November 9 , 2009—November 13, 2009 -

Business owners and entrepreneurs converge in Mountain View for networking events the week of November 9th at the Silicon Valley location of Outside the Cube.  All week long they choose from targeted coaching, round table discussions, co-working in the space, networking in events and seminars to promote small business growth and entrepreneurship.  Outside the Cube, a one stop networking and flexible co-working space with campuses in San Francisco and Mountain View, hosts this week in the heart of Silicon Valley at their Mountain View location.

"It's about the value of learning from each other," says Chapman.  "This is not about starting the next 'Google' but about taking the large number of entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs and bringing them together to discuss the challenges they all face and to give them solid tools they can use to grow their businesses to their potential and of course, increased revenue."    Seminars include PR on a Shoestring and Effective listening to build your social media presence with Janet Fouts.  Entrepreneurs can network during  round table discussions, work in the flexible co-working space, join other entrepreneurs at yoga, and connect at happy hour.  The week allows entrepreneurs with small budgets (and large) to create strong personal connections without dolling out money that is tight in this economy.  For just $15 they can work out at morning yoga or purchase a menu of items for $50 - $325.  Sponsors include Women 2.0, Skin Spirit, Peninsula Shops and the City of Mountain View's Chamber of Commerce.

Each event allows for networking and a focus on entrepreneurs' specific business needs.  "This isn't your typical place," says Karina Fatam, a marketing consultant, and member of Outside the Cube. "When I come out of events, I am energized and ready to push my busines to new levels.  I am not just learning about Twitter, I am learning about Twitter for my business specifically."  During Silicon Valley Business Development Week and beyond, entrepreneurs will engage in targeted coaching with experts.  From marketing help with Sherry Prescott-Willis, author of Market This! to Social Media with top blogger, Stefania Pomponi Butler, to how to raise capital, entrepreneurs pick and choose the consulting in the areas they most need guidance.  Even image consulting with Colleen Abrie is offered, because the first impression is so important in a competitive business environment.  Is your business meeting its potential?  Invest time now to build it to where it should be.

About Outside the Cube

Outside the Cube provides three to four events per month which members can attend at no extra charge.  From member focused round table discussions such as Entrepreneur & Eats and Eco-Business to classes and workshops. Members
attend as many events as they like each month.  "The beauty of it is the built in community without shopping around
to a bunch of unknown events," says Shannon Simar, recently joined member and fan.  "I like meeting both new members
and seeing familiar faces as well as being able to work to build my professional connections.  And I like seeing people in person
instead of just through 140 characters."
